The new ALDEBARAN® KATANA 2K LED is a further development of the ALDEBARAN® GLADIUS 2K LED. Like its “little brother”, the ALDEBARAN® KATANA 2K LED also has the SETO XPECT®2 LED lens system, but uses an adapted beam pattern with an angle of only 12° to achieve a greater range – just like its namesake, the Japanese long sword “Katana”. This highly specialized spotlight is specially designed for search tasks that requires the widest possible illumination, but also provides homogeneous and glare-free illumination at close range. And with virtually no scattering losses.
Natural colour rendering and optimum penetration even in adverse weather conditions are achieved by using the SETO XPECT®2 LED lens system.
The ALDEBARAN® KATANA 2K LED has an integrated cable winder for the ten or five metre long connection cable (depending on the version) and an integrated carrying handle. The permanently integrated DIN bolt mount with ball joint on the underside allows use on a tripod and precise and flexible adjustment of the illumination angle. This makes the ALDEBARAN® KATANA 2K LED the universal lighting tool and an efficient replacement for conventional halogen spotlights.
