TELESCOPE TRIPOD

The air-damped TELESCOPE TRIPOD is a high-quality push-rod tripod made of stainless steel. Compared to many tripods of its kind, however, it has air damping. Air compression inside the push rods and a controlled escape of air prevent the head load from lowering without delay when the tripod screws are opened. Air damping is, of course, no guarantee of absolute integrity and, again, care should always be taken to lower the load slowly and in a controlled manner. But it can help to reduce potential dangers.
